Recently wrinkles start to appear under my eyes and frackles started to grow above my cheek. I am aging!!!
I was thinking to seek skin specialist treatment but after some thinking I've decided to do product test and doctor would be the last one.
I went to a hypermarket near to my mother's place this afternoon and walked into Avon dealer. Asked them whether they have Avon Anew Rejuvenation in their stock. The first catalogue that I've looked at show RM155.00 for a set. However, the dealer told me that the set shown is for dealer as sample & demo. I was so frustrated since I am not so eager to buy loose because it will cost me RM305.00.
Then the dealer show me the introduction pack at RM138.00 with free gift (i.e. mini set & parfume). Without further thinking I've bought it and hope it work wonder to me...

Natural way to get pregnant
I just bought Omron Basal Thermometer earlier today at Guardian and cost me RM57.90.
What is Basal Thermometer?
According to Wikipedia, A basal thermometer is a thermometer used to take the basal (base) body temperature, the temperature upon waking. Compared to daytime temperatures, basal body temperatures are much less affected by environmental factors such as exercise and food intake...
This is an option to monitor my fertility cycle since I need to take reading every morning, at the same time every day. As any physical activity can increase resting temperature, it is recommended to take BBT reading before I get out of bed and record the reading on fertility chart.
How does BBT Charting "Predict" Ovulation?
BBT charting helps you predict ovulation by determining fertility patterns in your cycle - allowing you to predict ovulation based on your menstrual cycle/BBT history. But because temperature increases take place just following ovulation, BBT charting tells you when you have ovulated, helping you determine when your "window of opportunity" for conception will arrive. Many women use BBT charting and Ovulation Tests together to predict ovulation with increased accuracy.
This is exciting to try before proceed with clinical test since I have yet to manage to get hold of Dr Azizah of Klinik Dr Azizah at Pandan Prima or Dr Zalina of Pusat Rawatan Wanita Zalina at Taman Melati Utama for appointment.
What temperature changes indicate ovulation?
Following ovulation, you can record a minimum body temperature rise of 0.4 to 0.6 degrees - or more. For most women, 96 to 98 degrees is considered a normal basal temperature preceding ovulation. Directly following ovulation, your BBT should rise to between 97 to 99 degrees. Temperature baseline and increase can vary among women. Temperature changes, depending on the individual, can be gradual or sudden. Once you can identify an increase in your basal body temperature, you know that ovulation has taken place.
Hope this would work since I am scared to see doctor. Cross my finger and wish for the best. :)

Annoyed
People around me have been bugging me with sensitive questions lately
"Do you have children?"
I answered "No and still working on it"
Then come the second question
"Don't you want any? Are you on family planning?"
Then I answer politely again "No, I am not on any family planning or what so ever. I wish we have children by now."
With sympathy expression, they would say "Poor you... It's OK. Continue working for it. You're still young... Bla.. Bla.. Bla.."
Frankly speaking, I am annoyed. Even any married couple without children would feel the same.

Misteri Kemayan City
Pagi tadi bestfriend aku citer pasal Kemayan City. dia tanya apa yg aku nampak masa lalu depan kawasan tuh? Aku bgtau nampak bangunan tak siap.
Sebenarnya aku dah lama tak pergi JB. Kali ni g JB attend wedding bestfriend aku ngan ex-collegue opis lama aku.
Haaa... Berbalik citer pasal Kemayan City...
Ada ler satu manusia nih dah lama sgt tak g JB, duk terperuk kat Singapore. So nak dijadikan cerita dia dtg JB dgn tujuan nak visit sedare dia. On the way nak g jumpa sedare, dia lalu depan Kemayan City dan nak dijadikan cerita dia nampak cahaya terang benderang dan siap ada majlis opening ceremony Kemayan Mall!!
Haaa.... So, soklannyer sekarang dia g shopping kat Kemayan tu sapa yang ramai-ramai berpusu-pusu?

Electronic Cigerette
Last Tuesday I had a site walk & meeting as usual. 9.00am nobody turn up except me & contractor. It took almost an hour this time to gather everyone. I am not happy about punctuality issue.
Anyway, I saw one of the consultant smoking non stop but the cigarette never short, yet no odor. I asked him what kind of cigarette is he having and to my surprise it is electronic cigarette. Wow....
He told me this is the way to reduce cigarette and stop smoking. He told me the nip cost him Rm15 for 5 and the electronic cigarette starter pack is about RM290. So expensive to smoke since 1 nip cost RM3. The consultant informed the nip could last a whole day....
My observation tell me that the electronic cigarette does not help since it caused addiction to the user like baby and pacifier. Pursuant to that, smoker will smoke a whole day since the nip last for a day as long as the cigarette was fully charge.
Therefore, I would like to advise smokers out there not to get hold of the electronic cigarette cause it caused addiction... :P

Pain in my head
I'm having headache behind my right head for the past few days. I was wondering what is wrong. Did some research over the net last night ans the result is not convincing and yet make me relieved. I guess I need to consult the doctor but I don't want to be admitted. I can't afford another hospitalization after the last one which caused me away from the office for more than a week due to gallstones.
Hope the pain would ease away by tomorrow morning. I pray to Allmighty to heal the pain. Amen.

2nd wave of H1N1... be prepare... be alert
Yesterday I went to a private hospital in Shah Alam. Visiting my uncle who had high fever. No, he's not having H1N1 but high fever due to tonsillitis.
While waiting for the lift, I saw a notice which noted that any suspect patient of H1N1 case to proceed to government hospital or below listed private practisioner:
- Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre
- Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur
- Pantai Hospital Cheras
- Sunway Medical Centre
- Tropicana Medical Centre
- Tung Shin Hospital
- Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya
- KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital
- Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre Klang
The 2nd wave is coming so that we have to be more sensitive and alert to the surrounding, hygiene and most of all to keep spare of mask since we never know when we need it.
From WHO as of 1st April 2010:
Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 - update 94
Weekly update
1 April 2010 -- As of 28 March 2010, worldwide more than 213 countries and overseas territories or communities have reported laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1 2009, including over 17483 deaths.
WHO is actively monitoring the progress of the pandemic through frequent consultations with the WHO Regional Offices and member states and through monitoring of multiple sources of information.
Situation update:
The most active areas of pandemic influenza virus transmission currently are in parts of the tropical zones of Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Pandemic influenza activity remains low in much of the temperate areas of both the northern and southern hemispheres. Although pandemic influenza virus continues to be the predominant influenza virus circulating worldwide, seasonal influenza type B viruses are predominant in much of East Asia, and have been increasingly detected at low levels across southeast and western Asia, East Africa, and in parts of eastern and northern Europe. Seasonal influenza A (H3N2) is still being detected in very small numbers in parts of Asia and Australia.
In Southeast Asia, pandemic influenza virus transmission remains active but variable across the region. Thailand continues to report the most active circulation of pandemic virus in the region, however, disease activity may have recently peaked and begun to decline. Approximately half of all provinces in Thailand reported that >10% outpatient visits were due to influenza like illness (ILI). The proportion of outpatient sentinel respiratory samples testing positive for influenza dropped to 10% after peaking at approximately 30% during mid February 2010. In Malaysia, limited data suggest pandemic influenza virus transmission persists as new cases continue to be reported. In Indonesia, no recent pandemic influenza activity has been reported, however, low levels of seasonal influenza H3N2 and type B viruses continue to be detected. In Myanmar, limited data suggest that pandemic influenza has declined substantially since a period of active transmission during February 2010.
In South Asia, overall pandemic influenza activity remains low, except in Bangladesh, which reported regional spread of pandemic influenza virus in association with an increase in new cases since late February 2010. In India, low level circulation of pandemic influenza virus persists in the western part of the country.
In East Asia, overall pandemic influenza activity remained low as circulation of seasonal influenza B viruses continued to increase across the region. In China, ILI activity has greatly decreased; however, approximately 20-30% of respiratory samples have tested positive for influenza in recent weeks. Of these, over 85% were seasonal influenza B viruses. In Mongolia, recent intense influenza activity due to seasonal influenza B viruses continues to decrease. Overall rates of ILI have returned to near baseline in both Japan and the Republic of Korea as pandemic influenza virus circulation continues to wane. Seasonal influenza B viruses are circulating at low level across other parts of East and Southeast Asia and Oceania (Hong Kong SAR (China), Japan, Republic of Korea, Chinese Taipei, Philippine, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Australia). Also, small numbers of seasonal influenza H3N2 viruses have been detected in several countries of East and Southeast Asia as well as Oceania, particularly in Indonesia and in Australia.
In North Africa and Western Asia, limited data suggests that pandemic influenza virus continues to circulate at low levels, as overall disease activity remained low across much of the region. In Iran, no pandemic influenza viruses have been detected recently, however, low levels of seasonal influenza B viruses continue to be detected.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, limited data suggests that pandemic influenza virus transmission remains variable but most active in western Africa and in limited areas of eastern Africa. Localized areas of active pandemic influenza transmission persist in areas of Eastern Africa, particularly Rwanda and Tanzania. Pandemic influenza virus continues to be the predominant influenza virus circulating in West and East Africa, however, small numbers of seasonal influenza H3N2, H1N1, and seasonal influenza B viruses have also been identified.
In tropical zone of the Americas, limited data suggests that overall influenza activity remains low but variable with localized areas of active transmission in a number of countries. Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama, Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia, all reported an increasing trend of respiratory diseases associated with circulation of pandemic influenza virus for at least one week during March 2010. Localized increases in pandemic influenza activity have been associated with school outbreaks in several countries; however, in some places disease activity may be partially accounted for by co-circulation of other respiratory viruses. The most active area of pandemic influenza virus circulation in the region appears to be in Brazil where disease activity in the northern region has been associated with pandemic influenza virus transmission. In Mexico, limited data suggests that localized active transmission of pandemic influenza virus continued to occur in several states throughout March 2010, although overall influenza activity did not increase to peak levels observed during fall influenza season.
In the northern and the southern temperate zones of the Americas, overall pandemic influenza transmission remained low as influenza virus continues to circulate at low levels. Although the national level of ILI activity remained below the seasonal baseline in the United States, three of ten subregions reported a resurgence of ILI activity above their respective baselines. The most active areas of pandemic influenza transmission currently appears to be in the southeastern United States, particularly in the states of Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina, all of which reported regional spread of influenza activity. A corresponding increase in confirmed severe cases of pandemic H1N1 has also been noted in the southeastern United States in recent weeks. In Canada, overall ILI activity remained below the seasonal baseline. In temperate countries of the southern hemisphere, overall influenza activity remained low, with sporadic detections of pandemic and seasonal influenza viruses.
In Europe, low levels of pandemic influenza virus continue to circulate across the region, particularly across southern and eastern Europe. The proportion of sentinel respiratory samples testing positive for influenza remained low (4.6%). Three countries (Latvia, Lithuania and Bulgaria) reported an increasing trend of respiratory diseases activity, however, these trends have not been associated with increased detections of pandemic influenza virus. Increased circulation of seasonal influenza B virus has been observed in the Siberian and far eastern regions of the Russian Federation, and in Italy and Sweden, where it continues to be the predominant circulating virus (although at overall low levels).
The Global Influenza Surveillance Network (GISN) continues monitoring the global circulation of influenza viruses, including pandemic, seasonal and other influenza viruses infecting, or with the potential to infect, humans including seasonal influenza. For more information on virological surveillance and antiviral resistance please see the weekly virology update (Virological surveillance data, link).

Twilight Saga

Recently, I've bough Twilight Saga via amazon.com since I think it worth of buying hardcover books which I can't find it in Malaysia. Twilight Saga is a whole new world of vampire compared to others and I can't describe it in words how much I love reading it and I've read the whole saga three times already and still amazed.
Right now I'm waiting for the fifth book - Midnight Sun and I know Stephenie Meyer seems not going to release it to public soon enough since she's pretty up sad when the draft copy have been distributed online.
Anyway, I will be waiting for it patiently.

Activities for the day
Today I went to the site and was there for half day. I've managed to settle few issues and it makes me happy than yesterday.
The weather is on my side, cooling and eventually rain heavily. I really enjoy it.
The renovation and sprucing up works is in good hand and I believe my contractor can complete it by tomorrow afternoon since most of the works is at 65% done before I leave.
Anyway, I dropped by at KLCC after that since my sister asked me to buy her Sudoku. Went to Isetan's supermarket to buy lamb kebab or chicken teriyaki. Unfortunately, they don't have it today. Then went straight to Kinokuniya to purchase sudoku and something to read. I bough Sudoku and 2 books - Yakuza Moon by Shoko Tendo and Other Colors: Essay and a story by Orhan Pamuk.
Managed to finish Yakuza Moon within 6 hours and it is a very good story to read.
I will drop the review of the book in the next blog.

Manners
Today I reached the site earlier than other people though I felt that I am late (is it late if you reach the office at 8.30am? If your working hour start at 9.00am). I guess I am used to reach the site at 7.30am everyday, except for today.
Today there's question pop out where I started to ask myself 'what is wrong with this people?'. I always managed to put away my anger but for the past few days it kind of difficult.
I am not trying to say who is right, who is wrong. What is right, what is wrong. Unfortunately, I am confidently say something is not right with attitude and manners of certain people.
How can a person can have a very good manners and polite with the customer at the front office but very rude and unfriendly with other coulleges from other department, especially to 'support' team like us? They always think that we do not deserve respect. For them, we are like maids or even worst actually. This whole thing upsad me and I guess I need to do something. Live with it or leave it? I ain't sure about it.
However, I totally believe the HR need to do something about it. Not just promoting good customer service to the client but also among friends and coulleges. No matter permanent staffs, contractors or even vendors, we are also human being. By giving some respect to other people, it would create a better day to everyone including the person him/herself.
Else, what ever they promoted is not worth it since there's no value and therefore they already lost a customer which is ME.

Eid Fitri open house
Yesterday we had eid fitri (Hari raya aidilfitri) open house at the office during lunch hours. We brought so many foods (on pot luck basis) such as lemang, nasi impit and peanut sauce, chicken rendang, chicken with chili/red sauce, jelly, popia, putumayam (without coconut and brown sugar) and curry and also not forgotten fried beehoon.
Well, it is very exciting when we get together like that and everyone seems enjoy it very much.
Thank you to my 'comot' for his time to cook beehoon for us...

A malay movie called 'CINTA'
I hardly watch malay movies nowadays. It is very hard to find good movies especially with the right messages at the right time.
I am not being picky but the quality of the movies in a way of the story line is not up to my standard. I am not trying to tell you that I am good, but I realise nowadays the malay movies are just fun laugh and fun.
Ok.. Lets talk about 'Cinta' or shall I translate it as LOVE..
Basically, the story line is about people and love.. 5 love stories in 1 story..
Romantic - Azlan & Azura
Nothing special about this, only typical romantic story line but still the impression is good epecially when there's orchestra playing 'belaian jiwa' and it does catch me... To be frank, I really enjoy the scene ('belaian jiwa' orchestra)
Sincere - Taufik & Arianna
We never know to whom we will fall in love. We never know till the last moment and I am grateful that I know my 'comot' and I fall in love with him.
Full hearted - Harris & Airin
It is very painful when the person that we trust and love betrayed us.
Treasure - Teacher Elyas & Rubiah
I love this..
Teach me the meaning of love. Not to love him because of his look but to love him because who he is and what he is.
Forever - Dyan & Dhani
Love between siblings is hard to justify. It is nature to fight but we still share the same blood. As the fifth story which is the last one is about family love. We would never know till he/she left. We will only realise when the opportunity to be with him/her is not there anymore.
The fifth love is something to treasure. To love your siblings before its too late...
I hardly cry for a movie. But this movie really make me drop my tears.
Anyone else cried?

Perfection
Everyone dreams of perfection. Do they look deep inside themselves whether they are perfect enough for others? We will never be perfect but we can be almost perfect.
Do you believe perfection can bring happiness to life?
